Responsibility
- Monitor and manage pace of play to ensure an efficient and enjoyable experience for all golfers.
- Enforce course rules and etiquette with diplomacy, addressing any violations or conflicts professionally.
- Assist players with course navigation, providing guidance on rules, hazards, and local conditions.
- Conduct regular course inspections to identify and report maintenance needs (e.g., divots, bunkers, signage).
- Coordinate with the pro shop and starter team to manage tee times, group pairings, and player check-ins.
- Ensure player safety by monitoring weather conditions, cart operations, and emergency protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests promptly.
- Support tournament and event operations, including setup, scoring, and marshal assignments for competitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in golf course operations, marshaling, or a related hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and course management (certification preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and team members.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with a calm, customer-focused demeanor.
- Physical stamina to walk/stand for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (for cart operations) and first aid/CPR certification (advantageous).
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts as required by golf operations.
