Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality Western cuisine dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development, ensuring alignment with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards, including proper food storage, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in daily pre-service meetings to review specials, customer feedback, and operational updates.
- Uphold the brand’s reputation by consistently delivering dishes that meet Alice Boulangerie’s exacting standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a Western cuisine kitchen, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bakery.
- Formal culinary training from a recognized institution (e.g., diploma in culinary arts) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of French, Italian, or modern European cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
- Familiarity with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
