Responsibility
- Monitor and regulate the pace of play on the golf course to ensure an optimal experience for all guests.
- Enforce club rules, safety protocols, and etiquette standards on the course.
- Assist golfers with course navigation, local rules, and general inquiries.
- Coordinate with the starter and pro shop to manage tee times and course availability.
- Inspect the course for hazards, maintenance issues, or potential disruptions and report findings promptly.
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary and escalate incidents as required.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence to enhance guest satisfaction and course security.
- Assist in organizing and managing golf tournaments, events, and member activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in golf course operations, marshaling, or a related role in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of golf rules, course management, and player etiquette.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests and team members.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain physically active for extended periods.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts or challenging situations diplomatically.
- Basic first aid certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with golf course management software or tools is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or golf management are preferred.
