Responsibility
- Manage and analyze global overhead costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary and financial targets.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for overhead expenses, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor overhead budgets, identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and local regulations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline overhead accounting procedures and enhance efficiency.
- Support audit activities by providing documentation and explanations for overhead-related transactions.
- Work closely with FP&A teams to forecast overhead expenses and align them with business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in overhead accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for overhead costs.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
