As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing geological data, and providing recommendations for foundation design and slope stability. This contract position offers a competitive salary of ₱80,000 – ₱100,000 per month, along with the chance to work in a vibrant and culturally rich location. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling, borehole logging, and in-situ testing.
- Analyze geological and geotechnical data to assess soil and rock properties, groundwater conditions, and potential hazards.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports with recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earthworks.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure geotechnical considerations are integrated into project plans.
- Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with geotechnical recommendations and address any emerging issues.
- Utilize advanced software and tools for geotechnical modeling, analysis, and visualization.
- Provide expert advice on mitigation strategies for geotechnical risks, such as landslides, settlement, and erosion.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in site investigations and data analysis.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with local and international geotechnical standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities to convey technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and other regions as needed.
