Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations (e.g., bank, intercompany, balance sheet accounts).
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification and adherence to accounting principles.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial data analysis to identify variances, trends, and potential issues, providing actionable insights.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards (e.g., PFRS/IFRS) and company policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., PFRS, IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
