Responsibility
- Lead and manage the General Ledger (GL) accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline accounting operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance (Indonesian GAAP, IFRS).
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; familiarity with Japanese is an advantage.
