Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconcile monthly and yearly accounts, including bank statements, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper classification and allocation of expenses and revenues.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and financial analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, working closely with tax advisors as needed.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial compliance standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multinational or remote team is highly desirable.
