Responsibility
- Scoop and serve gelato with precision, ensuring consistent portion sizes and presentation.
- Provide warm, professional, and efficient customer service to enhance the guest experience.
- Operate the POS system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, and issue receipts.
- Restock gelato flavors, toppings, and supplies to maintain inventory and display standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop, including counters, tables, and equipment, adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Assist in opening/closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and daily sales reporting.
- Educate customers on gelato flavors, ingredients, and promotions to drive sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service (gelato/café experience is a plus).
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for creating positive customer interactions.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., gelato tubs).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
