Responsibility
- Scoop, serve, and present gelato and other desserts with precision and flair, ensuring consistent portion sizes and aesthetic appeal.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, process payments (cash and digital), and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation, including sanitizing utensils, counters, and display cases.
- Assist in restocking gelato flavors, toppings, and supplies while monitoring inventory levels.
- Upsell additional menu items, such as waffle cones, toppings, or beverages, to enhance the customer experience.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
- Basic English proficiency (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in portion control and presentation.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., gelato tubs).
