Responsibility

  • Develop comprehensive PV system proposals based on detailed calculations of roof area, shading analysis, and client electricity consumption data.
  • Design complete PV systems, including layout, component selection, wiring diagrams, and system sizing using industry-standard software.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the optimal solar solution for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution from design to implementation.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and installation guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards, codes, and regulations related to solar PV installations.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology, materials, and design tools to continuously improve system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar PV system design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in solar design software such as PVSyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, PV system components (panels, inverters, mounting systems), and grid-tie/off-grid configurations.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, permitting processes, and utility interconnection requirements in Indonesia.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Certification in solar energy (e.g., NABCEP, GSES) or willingness to obtain relevant certifications is a plus.
