Responsibility
- Assist in the production of high-quality furniture according to design specifications.
- Operate and maintain workshop machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Assist in the assembly and packaging of furniture for shipment.
- Report any issues or delays to the workshop supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking or furniture making is a plus.
- Previous experience in a furniture workshop or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
