Responsibility
- Develop detailed production drawings and technical specifications for furniture designs using AutoCAD.
- Create accurate 3D models and renderings in SketchUp to visualize design concepts.
- Generate cutting lists and material specifications to optimize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Review and refine designs based on feedback to meet client and production requirements.
- Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions for easy reference.
- Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to enhance design processes.
- Assist in prototyping and testing to validate design functionality and aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Furniture CAD Designer or similar role in the furniture industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop (additional software skills are a plus).
- Strong understanding of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio showcasing previous furniture design projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Bali’s design and manufacturing landscape is a bonus.
