As a Fund Operations Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily fund activities, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting. Responsibility
- Process and verify daily fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations between fund accounts, custodian records, and internal systems.
- Prepare and distribute operational reports for internal stakeholders, fund managers, and external partners.
- Monitor fund cash flows and liquidity positions to support investment strategies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, and audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in fund operations, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist in the onboarding of new funds, including setup, documentation, and initial operational workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in fund operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fund operations, investment accounting, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, NAV calculations, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in financial software, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and fund administration platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC compliance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with global teams.
