Responsibility
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly fund accounting tasks, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and investor reporting for EMEA-based funds.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements for fund accounting and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., tax, compliance, operations) to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements, audit schedules, and investor communications in a timely manner.
- Monitor fund performance, cash flows, and investment activities to support accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in the onboarding of new funds and clients, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to internal controls.
- Leverage accounting software (e.g., Investran, Yardi, or similar) to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects, such as system implementations or process improvements, to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within the EMEA region or for international clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Investran, Yardi, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and fund accounting principles (e.g., NAV calculations, expense allocations).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German, Dutch) are a strong advantage.
- Experience with hybrid work models and ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Commitment to sustainability and ethical finance practices is highly valued.
