Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications for Oracle Utilities (CC&B, MDM, MWM).
- Perform end-to-end functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing to ensure seamless software operation.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to clarify requirements and validate test scenarios.
- Perform data validation and verify database integrity within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing technical guidance to stakeholders and business users.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a specific focus on Oracle Utilities applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC (Software Development/Testing Life Cycle) in an Agile or Scrum environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data validation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed, cross-functional team.
- Relevant certification in Oracle Utilities or ISTQB is a strong advantage.
