Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves, tracking inventory levels, and processing shipments.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with a focus on resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and promote store products through effective merchandising.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist in visual merchandising and store displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in retail is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
