Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and personalized one-on-one or small-group math tutoring sessions tailored to students’ learning needs.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student abilities.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in math.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
- Utilize interactive teaching tools and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Track and document student performance, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating milestones.
- Stay updated on educational trends and methodologies to ensure high-quality instruction.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Proven experience as a Math Tutor, Teacher, or Teaching Assistant, preferably in a private or small-group setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed in mathematics.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and the ability to tailor lessons to diverse learning styles.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Willingness to commit to a full-time schedule with flexibility for student needs.
