Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient service with a welcoming smile, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding counter.
- Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or loyalty programs to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
- Collaborate with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment and minimize wait times.
- Assist with opening/closing duties, including restocking supplies and preparing the café for the next shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cashier, retail associate, or in customer service (café/hospitality experience is a plus).
- Fluent in English (additional languages, especially Indonesian or Balinese, are advantageous).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Neat, professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
