Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to take ownership of financial operations in a dynamic construction environment? Maxcon Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Full Set Accounts Executive to join our team in Yishun. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the financial health of our projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry's unique financial requirements. You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting process, from data entry to the preparation of final accounts, working closely with management to provide critical financial insights that drive our business growth.
Responsibility
- Manage the full spectrum of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports with high precision.
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and manage intercompany transactions.
- Handle GST submissions and ensure strict compliance with statutory and tax regulations in Singapore.
- Assist in year-end audit processes and liaise effectively with external auditors and tax agents.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and oversee project costing accounts.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and budget forecasting as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional certification (ACCA/CA/CPA).
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in full set accounting, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of FRS and local tax regulations (IRAS/GST filing).
- Strong analytical mindset with a meticulous eye for detail and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and solve problems proactively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across various departments.
