Responsibility
- Manage and organize inventory in frozen and chilled storage areas to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.
- Monitor and maintain temperature controls in freezers and chillers to comply with food safety regulations.
- Replenish stock levels by moving products from storage to display areas as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in all cold storage areas.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse, retail, or cold storage environments preferred.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
