Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor front desk staff, including receptionists, concierge, and bell services, to ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently met.
- Oversee daily front office operations, including check-in/check-out processes, room assignments, and guest inquiries, to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary, to maintain our reputation for excellence.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of guest requests.
- Monitor and manage room inventory, including room status updates, overbookings, and special requests, to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Train and onboard new front office staff, ensuring they are well-versed in hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Prepare daily reports on front office activities, including occupancy rates, guest feedback, and operational challenges, for management review.
- Uphold the hotel's brand standards and ensure compliance with all safety, security, and hospitality regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and resolving complex guest issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff to achieve performance goals.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) is a plus.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS, Amadeus, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of a 24/7 hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
