Responsibility
- Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Lead and mentor a team of front desk staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and hospitality.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Implement and uphold company policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve guest experiences and drive repeat business.
- Monitor and analyze front office performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front office or guest services role, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of local culture and customs in Timor-Leste is highly desirable.
