Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions with integrity.
- Educate customers about our menu, coffee origins, and brewing methods to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
