Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee machine, grinders, and service area, to ensure hygiene and efficiency.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, placing orders for supplies as needed and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Process payments efficiently using the POS system, handling cash and card transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assisting with tasks such as restocking, cleaning, and customer inquiries.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge to enhance the customer experience and contribute to menu development.
- Uphold the company’s standards for quality, service, and presentation, ensuring every guest receives a memorable and satisfying experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods, coffee origins, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in beverage preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and operating the POS system accurately.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
