Responsibility

  • Manage front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a solution-oriented approach to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to deliver seamless service and resolve operational issues.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications using property management systems (PMS) accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Prepare daily reports, including occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback, for management review.
  • Uphold cash handling procedures, including billing, payments, and financial reconciliations.
  • Train and mentor junior front office staff to maintain service excellence and team cohesion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in front office operations within the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, or serviced apartments).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Russian) are a plus.
  • Proficient in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric mindset.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
  • Knowledge of Bali’s tourism landscape and cultural sensitivity to diverse guest profiles.
