Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's high-quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of Korean cuisine (preferred).
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities to manage a diverse kitchen team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or Korean is a plus.
