Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's high-quality standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of Korean cuisine (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities to manage a diverse kitchen team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or Korean is a plus.
