Responsibility

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table allocations efficiently to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
  • Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen team.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless service throughout the dining experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area, including dining spaces, service stations, and guest restrooms.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and conducting end-of-shift cleaning tasks.
  • Upsell menu items, promotions, and specials to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a front-of-house role within a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting (prior experience in Bali or international hospitality is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including familiarity with POS systems and order-taking procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or other common tourist languages) are highly desirable.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods, often in a busy and dynamic environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
