Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, smoothies, juices, and other wellness beverages according to KITCH’s standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking ingredients to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate and maintain barista equipment, including espresso machines, blenders, and juicers, to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new drink recipes and seasonal specials that align with KITCH’s wellness-focused brand.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Uphold the brand’s commitment to sustainability by minimizing waste and using eco-friendly practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista, smoothie maker, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an interest in health and wellness trends.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes, techniques, and customer preferences.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., bags of coffee, crates of fruit).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
