Responsibility
- Greet and engage customers with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Layna Collection’s standards.
- Operate the POS system accurately, handling cash and digital transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house area, including the counter, seating, and service stations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment and seamless service flow.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista, Front of House staff, or in a similar customer-facing role (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and manual brewing methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with experience using POS systems.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and continuous learning in the F&B industry.
