Responsibility

  • Greet and engage customers with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Layna Collection’s standards.
  • Operate the POS system accurately, handling cash and digital transactions with precision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house area, including the counter, seating, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment and seamless service flow.
  • Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Barista, Front of House staff, or in a similar customer-facing role (1+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and manual brewing methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills with experience using POS systems.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
  • Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and continuous learning in the F&B industry.
