Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests with a professional, friendly demeanor, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
- Manage reservations, bookings, and room assignments using property management systems (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with efficiency and diplomacy, escalating issues as needed.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records for all transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational smoothness.
- Provide local area recommendations (dining, attractions, transport) to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a tidy, organized front desk area with up-to-date information and promotional materials.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including reporting, inventory management, and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in front desk, reception, or customer service roles (hospitality industry preferred).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities with a guest-first mindset.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and multitasking skills to handle high-pressure situations.
