Responsibility
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
- Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Accurately encode and maintain patient records, treatment plans, and billing information in digital systems.
- Handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries, providing clear and courteous communication.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and timely service delivery.
- Process payments, generate receipts, and manage petty cash transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception area.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as inventory tracking, reporting, and filing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in receptionist, administrative, or data entry roles (healthcare industry is a plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic data encoding software.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion and integrity.
- Basic knowledge of medical or dental terminology is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
