Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in/out process.
- Manage front desk operations, including reservations, room assignments, and guest inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle phone, email, and in-person communications with guests, vendors, and internal teams in a courteous and timely manner.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with hotel policies.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled without delay.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, including administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Stay updated on hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to provide guests with tailored recommendations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A polished appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
