Responsibility

  • Assist senior chefs in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients to exacting standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Prepare and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Support the team in inventory management, including stock rotation and supply requisition.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service during peak dining hours.
  • Learn and apply advanced culinary techniques under the guidance of mentors.
  • Adhere to portion control and waste minimization practices to optimize costs.
  • Participate in daily briefings and contribute ideas for menu development.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of knife skills, food safety, and kitchen operations.
  • Passion for cooking and a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior internship or entry-level experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous.
