Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the Fresh & Produce Department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of incoming produce, rejecting substandard items and ensuring only the best products are displayed.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and drive sales.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve store-wide goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a retail, grocery, or fresh produce environment.
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce handling, storage, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
