Responsibility
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by logging incoming and outgoing shipments, and assist in cycle counting as needed.
- Organize and maintain warehouse space, ensuring materials are stored in designated areas for easy access and retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet daily operational goals.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Keep the warehouse clean and free of obstacles to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or warehouse assistant (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification (a must).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA standards.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and inventory management skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset.
