Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end client accounts, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
- Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation, including import/export declarations, permits, and licenses.
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and clients to resolve clearance issues and minimize delays.
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize logistics processes for efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in customs tariffs, trade agreements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, operations, and finance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Customs Broker, Account Handler, or in a similar role within logistics/transportation.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, HS codes, and trade compliance.
- Proven track record of managing client accounts and resolving customs-related challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in customs software (e.g., INSW, e-Customs) and MS Office Suite.
- Certification as a Licensed Customs Broker (preferred but not mandatory).
