Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
- Assist in inventory management, including labeling, sorting, and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold workplace safety and efficiency standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies, including proper documentation of material movements and inventory records.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification (preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25-50 kg) as required.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
