Responsibility
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management principles to maintain stock accuracy.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and inventory management.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
