Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts before and after each shift to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments by packing, labeling, and documenting materials accurately.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and prioritize workloads.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in training programs and safety meetings to stay updated on best practices and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
