Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in Food Technology and related disciplines.
- Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with industry standards and academic best practices.
- Mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects and theses.
- Conduct original research in food science, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and secure external funding.
- Collaborate with food industry partners to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications.
- Participate in university committees and academic governance to enhance program quality.
- Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote food technology advancements.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in food safety, sustainability, and innovation to integrate into teaching.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a closely related field (preferably from an accredited institution).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the university level or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven track record of research publications in food technology or related areas.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience with laboratory management and modern food analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FDA) and industry standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.
