Responsibility
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of school cafeterias, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and nutritional standards.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise cafeteria staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with nutritionists and chefs to design balanced, appealing, and culturally appropriate meal plans for students.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage financial performance, including procurement, inventory, and expense tracking to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, parents, and vendors to align services with educational goals.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to uphold service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities to expand services, introduce new programs, or improve operational processes.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local health regulations, food safety certifications, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in food service management, preferably in school or institutional catering.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Certification in HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent food safety programs.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English proficiency; Indonesian language skills are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to multiple school locations as needed.
