Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and maintain food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) in compliance with local and international standards.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments of food preparation, storage, and service areas.
  • Train and educate staff on food hygiene, sanitation, and safety best practices.
  • Monitor and document food safety performance, including temperature controls, pest management, and waste disposal.
  • Investigate and resolve food safety incidents, non-compliance issues, or customer complaints promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen, procurement, and management teams to ensure adherence to food safety policies.
  • Stay updated on emerging food safety regulations, trends, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management on food safety performance and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field. Certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, or similar are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role within the hospitality, F&B, or manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, EU, Indonesian standards).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and training abilities to engage with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in using food safety software, audit tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
