Responsibility
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests in dining areas, bars, or event spaces
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
- Deliver orders promptly while ensuring presentation meets establishment standards
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision, providing receipts and change as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and resolve any issues
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, including table setup and reset
- Assist with special events, private functions, and high-volume service periods
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a server, waiter, or in a similar F&B role (preferably in hotels or fine dining)
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and splitting bills
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management tools
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
