Responsibility
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of dishes and drinks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and service standards in compliance with restaurant policies.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service, events, or private functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or F&B industry (preferably in fine dining or upscale establishments).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, menu descriptions, and service etiquette.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment as needed.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues during peak service times.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking technology is an advantage.
