Note: This role is based in Canggu, Bali, with occasional support required at our sister properties in Ubud, Jimbaran, or Nusa Dua.
Responsibility
- Assist in the daily operations of F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Support the F&B team in setting up, serving, and clearing tables, buffets, and banquet events with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Prepare and present beverages, including coffee, tea, cocktails, and mocktails, while adhering to resort standards and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery, addressing guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of F&B areas, including dining spaces, service stations, and storage rooms, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocktaking, restocking supplies, and reporting discrepancies to the F&B Supervisor.
- Participate in pre-shift briefings, training sessions, and team meetings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and resort policies.
- Uphold the resortās brand values by delivering warm, personalized service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
- Basic knowledge of F&B service standards, including table setup, order-taking, and beverage preparation.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, or Russian) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the resortās operational needs.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 10kg, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality (e.g., ServSafe, HACCP) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
