Responsibility
- Deliver impeccable food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, including weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to present dishes with precision and flair, adhering to Marriottâs high standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to exceed expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Work flexibly across various F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
- Contribute to team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food & beverage service, event operations, or a related hospitality role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Passion for customer service and a genuine desire to create exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems, event management software, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
