Responsibility
- Prepare and assemble food items according to standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Inspect food products for quality, freshness, and presentation before packaging.
- Follow inventory management procedures, including tracking and reporting stock levels.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and wear required protective gear.
- Assist in cleaning and organizing workstations to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent; culinary or food safety certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in food preparation, assembly, or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (e.g., HACCP).
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in English.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
- Singaporean citizens or PRs are eligible for a $5,000 joining bonus.
