Responsibility
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing dining area, including table settings and service stations.
- Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to ensure timely and high-quality service.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Stay updated on menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a server, waiter, or in a similar customer-facing role in the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine pairings, and beverage service is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays or supplies as needed.
- A positive attitude, team-player mentality, and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
