Responsibility
- Assist the lead florist in designing and arranging floral displays for hotel lobbies, guest rooms, and event spaces.
- Maintain the freshness and presentation of all floral arrangements, including watering, trimming, and replacing wilting flowers.
- Prepare and set up floral decorations for special events, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of fresh flowers and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering floral supplies while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and events teams to ensure floral arrangements align with the hotel’s aesthetic standards.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing guest inquiries related to floral arrangements and special requests.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of the floristry workspace, tools, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floristry, horticulture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Creative flair and a strong sense of design, with an ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Basic knowledge of flower care, arrangement techniques, and seasonal blooms.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to support hotel events and operations.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environments.
